Three initiatives in the Mediterranean and North Africa were presented during the meetings and workshops that took place during the MEDEVENTUN II week, namely: • Nature-based solutions in Tunisia's national voluntary contribution (INDC). The first edition of MEDEVENTUN was organized in November 2012. This second edition enhanced existing collaboration with IUCN Members and partners in Tunisia and identified new initiatives and partnerships for the implementation of the new IUCN 2017-2020 North Africa program.
