DestiMED assessment methodology applied for 1st time to ECOTOURISM packages





Thanks to the Interreg-MED-funded project DestiMED, Mediterranean protected areas have been able to measure and manage the Ecological Footprint of their ecotourism packages. Taking Global Footprint Network's standardized accounting tool as a starting point, DestiMED project partners adapted the Ecological Footprint methodology

Workshop: Identification and mitigation of the impact from electricity infrastructures on the avifauna in Morocco - 14-15 May 2018, Rabat (Morocco).
