This CD-rom contains full information on the Mediterranean roundtable on Climate Change, Water and Wetlands that took place on 10-11 December 2002 at Athens (Greece) and additional global resources on climate change adaptation.

This regional programme focused on how different Mediterranean countries are adapting to the expected changes in Mediterranean Climate. An overview of the expected climate changes in the region has been undertaken by the Blue Plan and by MEDIAS and is available here (English only).

The CD includes 8 country baseline studies (Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Morocco, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey) and four cross-cutting thematic papers (flood management, drought management, climate change and wetlands, water resources management), as well as, presentations, discussion summaries and additional resource material on the topic. Most of this material is available in English and French and there are some documents in Arabic and Spanish.

It also incorporates the Spanish and French electronic versions of the book Change, Adaptation of water resources management to climate change edited by IUCN and an electronic copy of the leaflet Adaptation Framework for Action for the Mediterranean Region, in Spanish, English and French, that was one output from the regional working process.
