The Life ADAPTAMED project has launched its new website (www.lifeadaptamed.eu), which is meant to channel all project activity with a view to disseminating and reporting its actions.

Another aim is to provide links to other initiatives associated to the adjustment to climate change, especially in the scope of the Life programme.

The website's functional and appealing design facilitates access to all its content. It also includes numerous info-graphic illustrations meant to provide the general public with an intuitive and graphic picture of the project's main concepts.

Data access

The Life ADAPTAMED website is also the access gateway to the information system for monitoring climate change in Andalusia. The information system constitutes a meeting and interchange point for sharing information between researchers and managers, both producers and users of information that is of common interest for their respective activities.

This system was conceived to be a distributed system that will allow the original information to be stored in different data deposits (e.g. in local observatories). It is transparent with respect to users, who can access any information contained in the system by means of a single standard data form.
