MEET launches online training to develop Ecotourism in protected areas

The MEET Network has launched a new online course on Conservation Training Platform. The training is primarily directed at Protected Areas staff interested in ecotourism development for their destination, but is also highly relevant for other stakeholders in the tourism and conservation sector. 

Algeria & Morocco recognise biodiversity value of parks and reserves through OECMs

Algeria makes a big step towards Aichi target 11 by recognizing five Cultural Parks as “Other Effective Conservation Measures” (OECMs). The land designated under this category will grow by 1 Million Km2. Morocco will also be adding 130,000 Km2 by acknowledging its Biosphere reserves and hunting reserves

The Medbycatch 2 - Understanding Mediterranean bycatch
