Alboran Sea - Fauna and Flora

The Alboran Sea contains many endemic animals and plants, colonies of breeding birds, colourful communities of invertebrates, migrant cetaceans and large fish schools, etc.


In this section, we present you some of the charismatic fauna and flora of this sea, some of them endemic (unique in the region) others at risk or under threat of disappearing (see photo gallery bellow)
